Tax Segment I-8 - California Itemized Deductions

 

When filing a tax return you usually choose the greater of your standard deduction or your itemized deduction amounts. For the most part California conforms to federal law but there are still differences between them. When California conforms to federal it is usually to a certain extent. California does not always conforms with federal totally.
